Wholesale FAQ

Do you accept wholesale orders from new stockists?
We do indeed! Whether you're a brick shop or a website, as long as you formally agree to re-sell our pieces as Sugar & Vice and not to re-brand them then we're happy to discuss all the details in full.

What are your wholesale prices and minimum order values?
We're a small two-person operation and everything is made to order, as such our wholesale prices are traditionally between 30% and 50% of the RRP, although that price will decrease for much larger orders. Please contact us via the "contact us" form at the bottom of the site to discuss our minimum values and terms. We always insist that the price you sell the pieces is no less than our own RRP, unless they are temporarily reduced as part of a sale. Branded gift boxes are available at cost.

What's the lead time on a wholesale order?
Our lead times can differ, but we always try to get orders out as soon as humanly possible. Most orders will fall between the standard window of 7-14 days for production, although larger orders can obviously take a little longer, we're only human after all. If you're worried about lead times or deadlines please do ask for quotes.

How do you ship wholesale orders?
Due to the, often large, value of bigger/wholesale orders we prefer to ship via a reputable courier than with Royal Mail, but we will always look for the best possible price and charge accurately.

Is anything omitted from your wholesale terms?
We're not able to provide limited edition items or collaborations at wholesale prices due to limited availability/ownership of design. We're happy to provide everything else though, as well as to discuss exclusive pieces or collaborations with the stockist.

Can I order on a 'sale-or-return' basis?
Because our items are made to order, and because our stock rotates reasonably often, all wholesale orders are non-returnable unless faulty.

How much should I sell your items for?
As long as you match our RRP that's fine, all we ask is that you don't undercut us! Items can be reduced as part of a sale, but we do ask that you don't sell the same items for less than we do under any other circumstance.

I've seen an item on social media that's no longer on your site, can I still buy this to stock?
We launch two new collections a year as well as a handful of seasonal pieces so our stock changes and we retire older pieces regularly. We're still happy to provide the retired stock on a wholesale basis though, so please do ask if you've seen something you like and can't find it on our site.

I'm worried about placing a large order in case the items don't sell, can you offer more flexible terms to me?
As a small business, we completely understand the struggle of being an independent seller so we're always more than happy to talk to other small businesses who would like to stock us. Although we do have ideal minimums and prices in place, we'll always aim to offer the fairest terms in order to begin a working relationship. As a rule of thumb, we don't permit wholesale orders for less than two of each item you choose. Please contact us to discuss specifics.
